October '09:

I just had some art appear at UAG's Haunted Gallery as part of Halifax's Nocturne event which took place all around the city! Check it out in my profile section under paintings (it's the zombie one!)
Autumn's my favorite time of year, and i've been Busy Busy Busy!!

August '09:

My new machines just arrived this morning! So stoked! Big thanks to "T" at Electric Soul Tattoo in Ca for the handmade beauties :)
We're getting closer to the end of summer, and although that's sad (not so much since we have a humid heat wave at the moment)... that does mean I'll be getting back into bigger custom pieces come autumn!

July '09:
Finally we're into the summer! After a trip to BC and Seattle, I'm back with lots of inspiration. And also check out the poster below for info on The Wee Show! I'll be showing 3 teeny tiny framed paintings of veggies (asparagus, eggplant & corn on the cob to be exact) at this group show in Vancouver next month. You can view the lil' paintings in my portfolio section :)

More Tattoo show news... this coming weekend is the 3rd annual Maritime Tattoo Festival. It's 3 big days of live bands, onsite tattooing, contests, art, sideshows, beer, and mudwrestling! Iron Ink will have a booth set up, and although I won't be tattooing on the weekend, I will have paintings for sale. Larger ones at the art booth, and little tiny ones at our Iron Ink Tattoo booth. So come check it out, and say hello! May 16,17,&18 at the Halifax Forum www.maritimetattoofestival.com/

April '09:

Heya folks. You can join my Facebook Fan Page here.
I'm going to be on my way to the Tattoo & Bike Show in Montreal this weekend (24th- 26th), just checking things out, passing out business cards, saying hello! It's been a little while since I spent some decent time in Montreal too, so looking forward to the whole trip :)

February '09:

Happy new year dudes! I know I'm late but I've been busy. Lots of tattooing and painting, and new stuff added to the site almost regularly. I'll be in an upcoming art show in Vancouver entitled Blood Guts & Gore, opening Feb 6th at The Fall. It'll be up for a month so check it out, links below for more info. I wish I could be there in person I think it will be fun and bloody! Come get tattoo'd. This month is going to be busy.

December '08:

Crazy how these past couple of months have just flown by! I've updated the tattoo section with more tattoo's that i've done, i've sold a couple more paintings, and i'm finally settling down for my christmas vacation!

Happy Holidays :D

October '08:

So, I've started a tattoo apprenticeship out of Iron Ink Tattoo in Truro, Ns! It's something I've wanted to do for a very long time, and i'm stoked at the opportunity. I'm working on a Tattoo page in the portfolio section, so stay tuned for some examples coming soon :)

Also I'm very pleased to announce that I have a bunch of paintings up for show/sale in the awesome new zombie/rockabilly/goth store Fashionably Dead in downtown Halifax.

I've been feeling all official since i've printed some pretty rad business cards too!

Birthday month has been great :D

UPDATED! 09.17.08

I just put this ugly scrolling box thing on here to make updating a little more efficient. Don't ask me how i managed to get it to work, but here it is!

September '08:
I've started on some very creepy stuff, just in time for Halloween! Let's just say it involves black velvet ooOOo!
I'm also working on getting some business cards printed EXCITING!

August '08:
Thanks to Randy & the boys at Blind Mute Productions for putting me in their GEARBOX show in August at the last minute. Randy showed up with the vintage wine box and art supplies and we had a nice day of artmaking in a random park in Calgary! Just in time for the show

July '08:
I'm working on a small series of paintings inspired by my love of old diner and motel signs. I have this soft spot for nastalgia that's not my own. It seems to belong to the kitschy americana age of the 1950s .. for those who travelled route 66, and went for sunday drives for no other reason then to get out and drive. maybe find a delicious piece of apple pie at a local diner, or catch a movie at the drive-in.
... the paintings will have skulls 'n stuff too though.
